Importance
Significance of the Rahu Beej Mantra Jaap
The Rahu Beej Mantra is regarded in Vedic astrology as one of the most powerful sounds for pacifying Rahu's malefic influence in a horoscope. Chanting it with devotion during this puja is believed to ease the confusion and mental stress Rahu can stir, supporting clearer decision-making and steadier confidence as its negative energies are gently drawn down.
Importance of Rahu Paithani Temple in Sanatan Dharm
Rahu Paithani Temple in Uttarakhand is among the few shrines dedicated specifically to Rahu, believed in local tradition to be blessed by both Rahu and Lord Shiva. Performing this puja in connection with the temple is considered to lend added strength to prayers for relief from Rahu Dosh, long associated with protection from negative influences and a steadier sense of stability.
The Effects of Rahu Dosh
Rahu Dosh is said to arise when Rahu is placed unfavourably in the birth chart, and is traditionally linked to confusion, illusion, and sudden instability in life. Those affected may face persistent mental stress, unexpected setbacks in career or finances, and strain in relationships. This puja is directed at pacifying such influences, creating space for calm and clearer footing.
