Pujas
Booking a puja at a temple, what it costs, and what you get back.
How much does an online puja cost at DevPunya?
A puja starts at ₹951 for one member and is priced by how many people take sankalp: ₹1,501 for 2 members, ₹2,501 for 4 members and ₹3,501 for 6 members. The same four tiers apply to every puja in the catalogue, whether it is a Rudrabhishek at Kashi or a Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran at Trimbakeshwar. Every name and gotra in your package is called out by the pandit ji during the sankalp.
How much does a puja cost if I am paying from the USA or abroad?
Pujas booked from outside India are priced in US dollars, from $51 for one member up to $125 for six members. The ritual performed is the same one Indian devotees book at the same temple. Prasad is not shipped outside India, so an overseas booking covers the puja and the ceremony video.
Can I book a puja at an Indian temple if I live abroad?
Yes. The pandit ji performs the puja at the temple on your behalf and takes sankalp in your name, gotra and nakshatra, so you do not need to be present. You receive the complete ceremony video on WhatsApp and email within 48–72 hours of the puja finishing. DevPunya has performed pujas for devotees in 15+ countries.
Do I need to be present for the puja to be valid?
No. The puja is performed in your name and gotra through sankalp, which is what ties the ritual to you rather than physical attendance. This is the same principle by which a family member has always been able to have a puja done on behalf of someone who could not travel to the temple.
Which puja is performed for Kaal Sarp Dosh?
Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran Mahapuja, performed with a Shiv Rudrabhishek. DevPunya performs it at Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga in Nashik and at Shipra Ram Ghat in Ujjain, both of which are traditional places for this remedy. It is priced from ₹951 for one member.
Which puja is done for pitra dosh and peace of ancestors?
Pitra Shanti and Pitra Dosh Nivaran Mahapuja, which includes pind daan and tarpan. DevPunya performs it at Brahma Kapal Ghat in Badrinath, the ghat traditionally used for ancestral rites. It is priced from ₹951 for one member and is most often booked during Pitru Paksha.
What puja helps with delays in marriage?
Gauri Shankar Vivah Puja, performed at Triyuginarayan Temple in Rudraprayag — the site where Shiv and Parvati are believed to have married. It is booked for removing obstacles in marriage and restoring harmony between partners, and starts at ₹951 for one member.
What is the difference between a VIP puja and a standard puja?
A VIP puja is a one-to-one booking: you reserve a slot at your chosen temple and the pandit ji performs the ritual exclusively for you. A standard puja may be performed as a group puja, where the pandit ji performs on a special occasion for several devotees together. Both take sankalp in your name and gotra and both send you the ceremony video.
Chadhaava
Sending offerings to a temple in your name.
How much does chadhaava cost?
Individual chadhaava offerings range from ₹5 to ₹901 depending on what you send — a coconut, flowers, a chunri, sweets or a full thaal. You pick the items you want and the total is what those items add up to. There is no separate service fee on top.
What is the difference between chadhaava and a puja?
Chadhaava is an offering placed at the temple in your name; a puja is a ritual performed for you by a pandit ji with sankalp, mantras and havan. Chadhaava starts at ₹5 per item and is what devotees send for a mannat or on a specific tithi. A puja starts at ₹951 and is the fuller ceremony. Many devotees book both for the same occasion.
Can I send chadhaava to an Indian temple from the UK or USA?
Yes. The offering is bought and placed at the temple by DevPunya on your behalf, so nothing has to be shipped to you for it to happen. You receive video of the offering being made. DevPunya currently offers chadhaava at 11 temples including Kashi, Ujjain, Vrindavan, Nalkheda and Devidhura.
Which temples can I send chadhaava to?
Chadhaava is currently offered at Mahamrityunjay Mahadev Temple in Kashi, Vikrant Bhairav Mandir and Shipra Ram Ghat in Ujjain, Maa Baglamukhi Dham in Nalkheda, Triyuginarayan Temple in Rudraprayag, Varahi Devi Shaktipeeth in Devidhura, Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan and Etteluthu Perumal Temple in Tirunelveli.
Will my name be taken during the chadhaava?
Yes. Your name and gotra are used in the sankalp when the offering is made, the same way they are for a puja. If you do not know your gotra, Kashyap gotra is used, as the shastras allow when gotra is unknown.
How do I know the chadhaava was actually offered?
You receive video of your offering being made at the temple, delivered within 48–72 hours of it being completed. If the video does not reach you within 72 hours, you can choose a free re-performance at another auspicious muhurat or a full refund processed in 5–7 business days.
Abhimantrit Products
Energised malas, kavach and yantra — what they cost and how they ship.
How much do abhimantrit products cost?
Abhimantrit products are priced from ₹751 to ₹1,249, against listed MRPs of ₹1,501 to ₹3,499. The range covers kavach lockets with yantra, Pitradosh Nivaran yantra and a Panchmukhi Rudraksh mala with certificate. Every item ships with its energisation certificate.
What does abhimantrit actually mean?
Abhimantrit means the item has been energised by a pandit ji through Vedic mantras and ritual before it is sent to you, rather than sold as a plain object. DevPunya performs that abhimantran at the temple and ships the item with a certificate recording it, plus a QR code that opens the ritual video.
Which yantra is used for pitra dosh?
The Abhimantrit Pitradosh Nivaran Yantra, priced at ₹751 against an MRP of ₹2,101. It is energised through the pitra shanti ritual before dispatch. Devotees often pair it with the Pitra Shanti and Pitra Dosh Nivaran Mahapuja performed at Brahma Kapal Ghat, Badrinath.
Can abhimantrit products be shipped outside India?
Physical products currently ship to all locations within India, and to select international locations only after confirming availability for your address. Prasad specifically cannot be shipped internationally at all, because of customs rules and perishability.
How long does delivery take?
Prepaid orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation, and cash-on-delivery orders within 2–3 business days as verification is needed. Items marked made-to-order need 7–10 business days before dispatch. The warehouse works 10 AM to 6 PM IST, and orders placed after 2 PM IST are processed the next business day.
Which mala is recommended for peace and spiritual growth?
The Abhimantrit Panchmukhi Rudraksh Mala, priced at ₹1,249 against an MRP of ₹3,499 and supplied with an original certificate. Five-faced rudraksha is traditionally associated with Panchabrahma, calm and steady spiritual practice, which is why it is the mala most often worn for daily japa.
Dosh & Reports
Kundli dosh checks and the astrology reports we generate.
How much does a kundli dosh report cost?
The Kundali Dosh Report is ₹199 in India and $19 internationally. It is generated from your birth date, time and place and names which doshas are present in your chart. DevPunya also offers a Love chart and a Health chart at the same ₹199.
What astrology reports does DevPunya offer and what do they cost?
Seven reports: Kundali Dosh, Love chart and Health chart at ₹199 each, Monthly Horoscope at ₹199, Laal Kitaab at ₹249, Varshaphal at ₹299, and the Personalized Premium Kundali at ₹499. International pricing runs from $19 to $49.
Can I check my dosh for free?
Yes. The Check My Dosh tool on DevPunya analyses your birth chart and tells you which doshas are present at no cost. The paid Kundali Dosh Report at ₹199 goes further, with the detail and the remedial guidance written out.
What details do I need to get a dosh report?
Your date of birth, exact time of birth and place of birth. Time of birth matters most — the lagna changes roughly every two hours, and several doshas are read from the lagna, so an approximate time can change the result.
I have Mangal Dosh. Which puja is recommended?
Mangal Dosh is one of the doshas covered by the Kundali Dosh Report, which names the specific remedy for your chart rather than a generic one. DevPunya performs dosh-nivaran pujas including Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran at Trimbakeshwar and Pitra Dosh Nivaran at Brahma Kapal, from ₹951. Run the free dosh check first so the remedy matches what is actually in your kundli.
Is a Laal Kitaab report different from a regular kundli?
Yes. A Laal Kitaab report reads your chart through the Laal Kitaab system, which prescribes its own simple, household remedies rather than the gemstone and mantra remedies of classical Vedic astrology. It is ₹249, against ₹499 for the Personalized Premium Kundali.
Booking, Prasad & Refunds
How booking works, when things arrive, and what happens if they do not.
How do I book an online puja?
Pick the puja and the package for how many people will take sankalp, enter each person's name and gotra in the sankalp form, and complete payment. You then receive the puja-day guidelines, and after the ceremony the video reaches you on WhatsApp and email. Booking takes a few minutes and needs no account beyond your phone number.
How do I receive the video of my puja?
On WhatsApp and email, within 48–72 hours of the puja finishing. The 72-hour clock starts when the pandit ji completes the ritual, in IST — so a puja finishing at 3 PM IST on Monday means the video is due by 3 PM IST on Thursday. The video shows your name and gotra sankalp.
What happens if my puja video does not arrive?
If the video has not reached you within 72 hours of the puja completing, you choose between a complimentary re-performance at the next auspicious muhurat at no extra cost, or a full 100% refund of the puja charges processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. This is DevPunya's Video Delivery Guarantee.
Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied with the puja?
Yes. Within 7 days of receiving your puja video you can ask for either a complimentary re-performance at the same temple, or a full 100% refund — no questions asked. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
Can I cancel a puja booking?
Yes, at any time before the puja is performed, with a full 100% refund. Cancellations requested less than 2 hours before the scheduled puja time may not reach the pandit ji in time to be processed. A cancellation is only effective once DevPunya confirms it by email or WhatsApp.
When does prasad reach me, and do you send it abroad?
Prasad from a puja is delivered within 8–10 days of the ceremony, and is shipped within India only. Prasad cannot be sent internationally because of customs restrictions and perishability, so devotees abroad receive the puja video rather than prasad.
Are the pandits temple-registered or hired by DevPunya?
The pandit ji who performs your puja is appointed by the temple itself, not employed by DevPunya. DevPunya books the slot, passes your sankalp details to the temple, and records the ceremony. That is why the puja is performed under the temple's own procedure for that shrine.
How do I know the puja was actually performed in my name?
The pandit ji speaks your name and gotra aloud during the sankalp, and the video you receive shows that sankalp being taken. The video is of your ceremony, not stock footage. If it does not arrive within 72 hours, the Video Delivery Guarantee entitles you to a free re-performance or a full refund.
